So you don't think the palace room warping should constitute a separation of categories? Also I noticed we currently have a "best ending w/ deaths" run but this run, while using deaths as a warp of sorts, doesn't have that category. Should any changes be made?

A/V good, cheating check.

I can't see mistakes here really. The game is a little odd and I admittedly didn't even notice when Jack changed colors. Or maybe that wasn't featured in this run. I thought the individual rooms were short enough to just about be botted maybe. Maybe that was done for the TAS.

Too weird, can't not

From what I gather based on the SDA KB and linked game atlas map, the warp is intended, though the atlas says unknown access so I think its creator didn't know how to get there, which according to the run comments is convoluted (dying twice in 5-5 after collecting a hidden sphinx in 5-2 in order to get access to 5-X).

The kb mentions a bunch of categories and endings:
- with/without deaths with/without wraps [total 4]
- 4 endings (king, queen, incest princess, belzebut)
- normal (any% with/without deaths) which includes warps

As 5-X access requires intentional deaths, I think this should just be "Any%" which muddies the water as no warps should be its own category (which at this point no deaths is also a given).
For best ending idk what to tell you.

Anyway, A/V solid, no cheating, runner worked hard on this run and I think I spotted one movement mistake but otherwise I couldn't spot the runner's own admitted mistakes so yeah.

Accept.

(Also that swastika room lmao)
Princess -> incest, Israeli? I'm gonna have to make a note of this...

I'm sure the runner can help us categorize this right. And this feels like a game that we need more of, at some point, so it's good there might be so many ways to run it!

Russian anti-Finnish propaganda points at how the Finnish Air Force (and some other contexts) had/have a swastika as an emblem, without bothering to mention that was from pre-Nazi times.

See the kb where it's mentioned that in the best ending you're revealed to be the king's son... and the princess ending means you marry her and have a child Shocked

Russian propaganda works the hardest over there tbh.
But it is mentioned anywhere the princess is the king's biological daughter? You can't wriggle away from this.

Good question! Here's the family portrait that I took.
It's clear king + jack are related, and queen+daughter are (based on skin color and nothing else), which suggests either genetics or extrafamilial marriage.
Since the game was developed in Japan and they consider incest to be legal (but frowned upon) (I took a bullet with my search history and google wanted to know my location rip me), I therefore consider the game to suggest they are genetically related, and thus they are in fact real brother and sister and thus marrying his sister and having a kid together.
