Oddworld: New ’n’ Tasty is a 2.5D remake of Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee released in 2014 on the PS4 and February 2015 on the PC. This run is the major skipless run and it is the default any% category. It is played on the hard mode. The speedrunning community go for the in-game time as it’s easier to compare against. It is quite difficult to record a modern game like this without any lag. I was successful however in achieving a new in-game World Record for this category and got a 53:18. There were a few mistakes in this run due to randomisers but overall I think this was a nice run. The tricks used in this run are the bottle cap jump which allows Abe to perform a bottle cap jump over some ledges. This run category was featured at SGDQ last year when Starwin held the World Record before Qwerku did as he got 53:20, but then I bopped it with a 53:18 in-game time. I hope you enjoy this run.
