If there any parts that are deemed unnecessary, I can always edit them out Welcome to the least buggy version of Double Agent Since the Double agent was first developed for the 360; the 360 shows graphical effects that are broken/missing in the PC version. This also means that the guards can actually see and hear more consistently than the PC version Therefore, some of the routes from the PC version do not work or need to be heavily modifed. Which also means I can't go stomping around as often. Generally, this means that levels on the 360 will be roughly 1 to 2 minutes longer compared to the PC version. Additionally, certain parts in some levels have aesthetic changes and random changes. 01 Iceland [05:44] (Differences from PC version:) The sleeping guard in the first building can hear Sam if he is running. Also the front light turns off when the power is cut I can only get past the electric fence part in a very specfic way. The bullshit ladder guard has to be bypassed in this manner The guard next to the vent is better to sneak past 02 Jail [05:22] (Differences from PC version:) The smoke grenades are required for getting past the two guard activated doors. After getting past the first door, the two guards next to it will imediately detect Sam if he whistles. However, if a smoke grenade is deployed, they won't immediately detect Sam when whistling The area with the second guard activated door is different. Instead of a wall between the stairs and the door, it is a railing meaning a smoke grenade is need to lure the guard away. After getting past the second door, the tower block has transparent walls, meaning that if I run upstairs, guards can hear me and spot me through the glass Also rescuing Jamie and that guard are in a slightly different position. 03 JBA Part 1 [12:55] In order to skip the conversation in the server room, I have to wait until a specfic time to whistle Ugh, in the firing range, I'm not good with aiming with a controller but that was probably the best I could get. (Differences from PC version:) Safe cracking is easier to do The Electronic lockpick is actually usable and unlockable. 04 Sea of Okhotsk [12:48] Activating the detonator is harder to do in the 360 version, since the guards have better senses. The ship part can be random at times since guards sometimes magically know that I attacked someone The captain is not a solid NPC at 14:40. I don't think he can interact with Sam. The developers did not expect players to go this fast. 05 Shanghai [10:23] Even the 360 version can bug out. Apparently the "Reach Aswats room 2406" objective didn't register even though you can clearly see me entering. Hilariously enough, the game thinks I can fail "Reach Aswats room 2406" but somehow steal his notes. The bug even carries over to JBA Part 2 where it assumes that I failed to steal his notes and Emiles speech even gets modifed 06 JBA Part 2 [08:14] Emile speech assumes that I failed to steal the notes even though you can clearly see that I did in shanghai. (Differences from PC version:) Building mines is faster and harder to control in the 360 version. Meaning that this level is actually faster on 360 than PC 07 Cozumel [09:43] For some reason the guard in the bomb area can't see me through glass door yet the crew memebers in the command deck could see through the glass windows, the developers never picked up on this apparently Additionally, that guards hearing is hilarously inconsistent. He can't hear the door being bashed, yet can hear me stomping around if I'm outside that room area. (Differences from PC version:) I need to Ocp the camera in order to place the smoke bomb. The crewmembers in the command deck can actually concistently see and hear better meaning I have to go slower and set up a sticky cam. Also the bomb area requires me to use an alternate route 08 JBA Part 3 [16:53] The visual proof of bomb objective is automatically hacked. The developers decided to give a freebie on that one. Once again I struggle with the firing range. I'm not good with aiming with a controller. 09 Kinshasa [12:16] That part with the first two guards is hilarious as it looked. Those two are amazingly deaf and blind for some reason. Then after exiting the elevator, the next two guards can actually see and hear, making it obnoxious at times to get past. The paper on the wall at 12:52 is tripping balls 10 JBA Part 4: [09:10; Approximately] Basing on my own testing, it appears that the ingame timer runs even during ingame cutscences like the Swat raid and part where the guards kill the scientists. I got that time by stopping when the mission complete screen appears. Even the 360 is prone to bugging out as you can see at 07:35 When the mission is finished, the stealth score screen is not shown. It immediately loads the credits and then imediately loads NYC Boat (Differences from PC version:) The stealth score screen is not shown. I must get the smoke grenades in order to get past the final part. And the route in the final bomb area needs to be heavily modifed. Also defusing the bomb, just like the mines, appears to be faster on the 360 version. 11 NYC Boat: [01:56] I don't think there is a way to skip the conversion Moss and his men are having. I couldn't get the PC version trick to work Also, whether or not Sam gets killed Jumping off the boat is luck dependant. As you can see, I got lucky here. It appears that in this level, the stealth score cannot be penalized unless a body is found. Also the game copies the NYC Boat stealth score and pastes it over JBA Part 4 Unlocks: Iceland: Jail: JBA Part 1: Sea of Okhotsk: Shanghai: JBA Part 2: Cozumel: JBA Part 3: |
