Played on DOSBox .74 Time when the player character lands on the rooftop (audible with a thud sound) and ends when the player gets on the escape jetpack. I kept a bit before the run starts due from having to jam Ctrl-J on DOSBox to enable my gamepad (Logitech Dual Action). The timer in the video was mainly used for me to see if the video recorded alright. To preface the personal comments for this run; I hate this game with a passion. Literally, this game makes my blood boil everytime I play it. So why have I submitted a run for it.? Mainly, I have submitted a run to get this game off of my chest. Even if this run doesn't get accepted, its just the knowledge that I put a very good effort into getting this time that will make me happy. Surprisingly, this game doesn't take long to route. The route mainly relies on getting the bomb from the first login terminal on floor 82. The game also has some slight randomization with the second login terminal (though there are only 3 different passwords), and the placement of some items, which could lead to a second bomb, therefore eliminating the tracker (turret) dodging near the floor 88 exit. The run also relys on going out of the way on certain floors to get keys. the most notable example is on floor 84. The only thing glitch wise that I know of is with the DOS version of D/Gen (the Amiga/CD32 and ST version do not do this) is that on floor 85, if you let the C/Gen kill you, for some reason, it does not respawn. I was able to replicate this on four different computers, including a computer running MS-DOS 6.22.
